This brass compression ball valve is made for PEX-AL-PEX pipe.
Connecting different pipe materials can be tricky, but this one makes it straightforward with a simple mechanical connection — no soldering or heat needed.
It uses a ferrule and nut that tightens around the pipe to create a solid seal. That holds up even when the pipe keeps expanding and shrinking from temperature changes, so it's good for hydronic heating systems or underfloor heating where things get hot and cold regularly.
The outlet has male threads, which lets you connect it directly to standard NPT or BSP fittings. That makes switching between the composite pipe and regular metal plumbing a lot easier without extra adapters.
It's made from dezincification-resistant brass, so it stays strong after long-term contact with water, even in drinking water systems. The valve is pretty compact too, which helps when you're working in tight spaces, and the quarter-turn ball still shuts off reliably.
